Eclipse in Virgo
On 13-14th March there will be a full moon eclipse in the sign of Virgo. A lunar eclipse happens during a particular type of full moon when the Earth is exactly between the Sun and the Moon. The Moon passes over the Earth’s shadow.
Balancing the Feminine Energy
The moon is feminine (Yin). During a lunar eclipse, the moon’s feminine energy and light is temporarily blocked. As we are simultaneously in a Venus Retrograde period with Venus also representing the feminine energy and a retrograde meaning ‘moving backwards,’ you may feel particularly blocked this week, as though your fertility journey is not moving forwards.
They key to release this is:
Female empowerment
When you empower yourself and other females, you balance out the blockage of the female energy collectively. If you feel powerless yourself, don’t focus on that, but empower another.
At the time of writing, this coincides with International Women’s Day. I told you March would be busy astrogically and cosmically!

What is the relevance of the nodes of the moon?
There are two nodes of the Moon which energetically affect us as humans. They are the South Node and the North Node of the Moon. You may remember that the nodes changes signs recently into Pisces and Virgo. All the eclipses for the next two years will be in the signs of Pisces and Virgo.
What does this mean for fertility?
Eclipses bring big endings and change. You might notice the people, situations and old beliefs that no longer serve you on your new path as a mother, are leaving your life. This takes time.
South Node in Virgo
The south node representing karmic endings and the past is in the star sign Virgo. Virgo focuses on the mental and physical elements of a fertility journey and relates to specifics and details. This means, you may be called to notice what is no longer working for you in the fertility journey, in a mental or physical capacity.
Have you been too focused on the details of your physical body which you couldn’t control?
Exactly how many embryos you got? How many months and days since your last period? Exactly which day you ovulate?
Or have you been neglecting the details?
Maybe you’ve been unaware of blood results which could indicate a new treatment path? Maybe you didn’t want to get PGT testing or NK cell testing because it seemed scary?
Virgo asks for a balance between the mental and physical and is closely related to health and the body.
Plan it. Fix what you can. But don’t obsess over it.
Virgo is a feminine earth sign. To engage with Virgo and help you to release an aspect where you have been overthinking, or avoiding thinking (you’ll know which one it is) access the Virgo energies of the Earth and physicality by reflecting on this in nature, whilst exercising and being outdoors.
The North Node in Pisces
The North node is in Pisces, which is also heightened during this eclipse. Pisces being the last sign of the zodiac means there are natural endings at this time as we move into Spring and the literal and metaphorical birth of new life.
Pisces is feminine energy associated with spirituality, reflection and intuition. As it is in the North node, it represents your aaligned soul path and what is guided for you moving forwards.
Whilst Virgo says ‘how can I achieve my goal of being a mother? Let’s analyse the details..’
Pisces says, ‘I don’t know how or when it will happen, but I trust that it will happen.’
Feminine energies
As both nodes of the moon are in feminine signs, this eclipse will affect the feminine collective in a big way. Especially if you are on a soul aligned fertility path.
